Why the Cello Suites?
J.S. Bach is one of the greatest composers of all time. Highly influential on all composers from Mozart to the present day and across many genres.
The Cello Suites, in particular, lend themselves remarkably well to the acoustic or electric guitar. Composed primarily of single note lines, they serve as exceptional studies for both fingerstyle and plectrum techniques. Moreover, they can be enriched with supplementary bass notes and chord tones, further enhancing their adaptability for guitar interpretation.
